Considering how many people cheat, even those that swear they love the person they're married/commited to, it seems to be human nature to give into temptation from time to time. Sometimes the cheater is just a pig who doesn't truly care about their partner as much as they say they do. Other times, it's not planned, it just happens in the heat of the moment, and they do truly regret it afterwards and would never let it happen again. Either way, I don't think there's any way to prevent it. If you love a person, give them all that you can, and show them you love them on a daily basis, what more is there for you to do to keep them faithful? Unfortunately, their faithfulness is not up to you, it's up to them.

Can you prevent it? Question is do you want to prevent it.
A lot of times we take each other for granted and when it looks like we might lose the other we start acting more romantic and interested in our other. In order to prevent unfaithfulness we need to treat our other as if every day could be our last. Love each other to the max. Communicate and always talk and tell each you love each other. Don't take your time together for granted. Unfaithfulness is just one way we could lose someone but there are many other ways. Treat each other with love and affections everyday, every-night and always.

Being true best friends with your partner. Things have to be completely honest including sex. Many couples are unable to discuss sexual desires and fantasies because they feel their partner will react badly. I've always been amazed when couples I know have split up. Often both of them go out and try all the things theyve secretly wanted sexually. The amzing thing is that often they are both out loooking for the same thing. If they had only talked they could have been experiencing them together.

If I ever marry again I would want the guy to agree to each other that if one of us feels like straying it is time to spice things up at home. And if it feels impossible to NOT stray, then perhaps the marriage is over and that person should move on before hurting the other preson.

The best known cure is christianity, let god control our lives instead of satan. the only reason for our failures of our relationships is we let satan (the world ) run our lives !!! Trust me I know, I'm living proof and couldn't be more gratefull that I have finally realized this reallity even though it has cost me everything I ever loved on this earth. From now on God is the answer for everything.

i don't think there is a way to prevent it. you can be the best gf in the world, you could be the most beautiful woman your man has ever been with... do everything your man wants... cook, clean, have the best sex he has ever had... it doesn't matter, he will be curious and cheat if he has the opportunity... its sad but it is the truth. not all men are like that but i would have to say most are

i don't comply with the widely held opinion that
it's human nature to cheat. It's human natuer
to want to. It's immature, disrespectful &
undermining to cheat.
there's not much
here's a consolation however; most men who cheat
on their women fail to keep it from their partners.
Vice versa is also true.
just be the best person you can.
