You need a mortar mix, and the easiest way to proceed is to go to your home products store and buy pre-mixed mortar mix. It comes in large paper bags, and needs to be mixed with water immediately before use. If you would rather do it yourself, buy cement and sand and mix them in the ratio 1:3 or thereabouts.

If you don't already know, it would probably be best/easiest for you to just buy prepackaged mortar mix at the hardware store. I also want to caution you that laying a brick wall is trickier then you might at first think, so you may want to hire a professional.
That said, be sure you start on a good foundation. I strongly recommend you drive in some grade stakes (2x4's) aligned along the front face of the wall that you can pull a string level to the top of the brick on whatever row you are working on to keep the bricks straight and level. Your mortar should be fluid, but not runny. You'll need a trowel and joint tools to lay the brick and finish the joints. Might want to get a DIY book and read up on the techniques used before you start.

For a concrete wall use a 3,2,1 mix 3 parts stone 2 parts sand 1 part cement. If brick is an option, I would do that. Pouring a quality concrete wall is difficult.

3 to 1 sand, cement but mix a little washing up liquid in the water before you add to sand and cement, helps keep it smooth and manageable!
It should look like a nice big pile of elephant dung lol

Wall for what? How tall and how long is your wall? Are you in the north where ground freezing is an issue? You will not get good answers if you don't ask the question properly. Try to rephrase your question, and you will get the help you need.
Good Luck
