From website:

"Coal Price Index
(NC PI) is an aggregation of prices
for key U.S. coal types, weighted
by RID fore casted volumes—providing
an at-a-glace indication of
current price trends in just one
number. RDI consultants adjust
each individual price component of
the NCPI such that it represents the
weekly estimated price for both the
market for physical delivery of coal
and the over-the-counter market
before the prices are rolled up to
the NCPI. Like the CSPI, a weekly
update appears on the Coal Market
Research Service home page. To
find historical NCPI information,
click on the Historical Data option
on the home page, and then click
on National Coal Price Index."

I am certain this is calculated in the same manner for coal in Indonesia as it is for the US.
