since mobile handsets are expensives.

Yes i use 3G network when i travel to Japan and Korea.

It is very useful as in the past, you will need to switch or rent phones when you arrive as both countries uses CDMA and PCN networks.

It is also useful if you have video calling functions and you can see friends and family when you are away.

Have it on my VODAFONE account phone, but seldom use it. is handy to send a video message though. i just enjoy the bigger memory that 3G phones have.
