water resistant flooring?

besides ceramic tile, is there any other completely water resistant flooring for a basement. i had laminate and i liked it but we had a freak snow storm on thursday, things went from bad to worse, and the basement was flooded. i don't want to go through this again if i don't have to.

They make paints and stains you can apply to the concrete. This can make an acceptable floor, and you can always throw an area rug down.
