This morning I was frustrated with one of my other computers because it wouldn’t read my flash drive that I kept taking in and out of one of the front USB ports. It was annoying because I used the flash drive with that computer just last night. Anyway, I restarted the computer and now it won’t load past the BIOS screen.

I doubt it’s the cause of the flash drive, but I felt I should put that in there.

Anyway, I have no idea what to do, it won’t load pass the BIOS screen, and I can’t open the menu’s on the BIOS screen (like the “press tab to open setup” or whatever), it’s like the screen just freezes when it gets there.

Any idea what might be wrong or do you think I should sorry worrying so much over my computers?

That's an interesting problem. It's possible that your motherboard may have gotten messed up somehow. However... It could also be a simple problem that just looks bad.

What I suggest is this:

1) Make sure your computer can't boot. Sometimes when they have problems, they appear to lockup when they are being started, but in fact they are just taking a long time. To determine this, you should start your computer and then leave it alone for awhile, say 30 minutes. If it won't start, then maybe it will at least spit out an error message. If you get nothing and it is well and truly locked up, then it definitely can't start. Try this both with going into the BIOS setup and with a normal boot.

2) Sometimes an external device can keep your computer from booting. To determine this, first unplug everything from the computer, except for the power and the monitor. Then try to start the computer. If it complains about not having a keyboard, plug it in.

2a) If it works, then your problem is (fortunately) a simple one. One of your external devices is messing up the computer. In that case:

2a1) Plug your devices back in one by one, until the problem comes up. When the problem starts, it's that device.

2a2) If the device has external power, unplug it along with the data cable. Make sure nothing is connected to it at all. Wait a few moments. Then plug everything back in for that device. Then try starting up again. If it still won't work, the device is probably busted.

2a3) If there are no other cables for the device, it's also probably busted.

2b) If after unplugging everything, the computer does not work, then you have may an internal computer hardware problem or a misconfiguration with your BIOS. Certainly, it's not a simple problem. In which case, you will need additional help.

Man Its your Hardware which is Giving you problem!
First of all remove the Stuff from ur USB Port!
Then Restart the Machine in Safe Mode (F8 when you start the Computer). I think it should work .. If you get the same Error Still it could be that your OS has Crashed!

Try out to flash the BIOS cuz sometimes the cheap gets stupid you will find how to do that using your systems manual. Also you might want to check out the start menu (F8) using step-by-step configuration very useful.

That's creepy. I would call/email intel (or whoever the manufacturer of your motherboard is) and ask, or would take it to a technician.
I'm one of these tech computer nerds and yet have never heard of anything like that; sounds like some chips on your motherboard got fried.
