Thank you for your question.
Cher has had a more durable career. She has achieved 22 Billboard Top 40 hits as a solo as well as a duo with Sonny, (including 12 Top 10 and 4 #1 hits) over her career. Her albums have so far included 6 gold, 1 platinum and 3 multi-platinum certifications.
However, She's So Unusual is the best album for mine that either has released.

I've got a lot more respect for Cyndi Lauper not that she is focusing on a social cause such as teaching young girls about sexual predators.
While Cher is concerned about the soldiers in Iraq (working towards getting better helmets for our boys overseas), I'll go with Cyndi's cause anyday!

Cher just because she stuck around for so many years......she continued entertaining me, whereas Cyndi was great when she was performing, but after a while she just faded out and people lost interest after a while.

I don't really like any, but I just pick Cher cause her characters in some movies are fascinating.

Both are great,but you can't compete with Cher.Cher is the ultimate diva.She has had more hits,more costume changes,and better acting gigs.I loved Cher in Mask.
