arnold trebach would be my first choice for a leader ... how many of these orginizations exist? there is even one called LEAP(law enforcement against prohibition.. we could attack the problem state by state and get somewhere. let your leaders know they won't get your vote unless they have some drug war reform on their platforms. any suggestions or does apathy and defeatism prevail?

I agree with you that prohibition is a horrible idea - and costs WAY too much money... but I'm too worried about other issues to not vote for somebody based on their position on prohibition. So I guess defeatism wins for me... sorry.

I do not believe that we need laws to say you cannot do as you wish so long as you do not violate anothers rights in the process.
To have any law that places more support for ones ideas of moral attribution over another is wrong, and violates a number of personal guarantees of personal rights and freedoms.
There is a difference between letting people know the dangers, and protecting them from themselves because of those dangers.
Everyone has the right to self, and I do not support violating those peoples rights.
