I understand the censorship thing but why can't people watch unblocked porn when we are allowed to watch people having their fingers cut off on movies? Surely seeing a persons body fully naked in the throws of passion isn't going to cause us all to become deranged. I find watching crime movies is far more disturbing.

I agree with you really, I don't see why sex is so much more offensive than violence, they should be censored or not censored according to the same rules.
And for those who disagree, there's always the age-old refrain: "Don't like it, don't watch it." Don't like your kids watching it? Keep a closer eye on your kids.

Sometimes you don't need to see whats going on under the mosaic if you cant imagine whats what then you ought to question why your so desperate to see explicit scenes horror films will always move with the times because its acceptable footage but in England the views on sex are very Victorian what other nation do you know that used to cover up piano legs because it was deemed rude to show them however leave it to the imagination its a wonderful thing

Its the legality thats of concern. The violence isnt illegal, but having minors watch pornography is illegal. So by blocking off "parts" of the body on intro sites, legally protects those sites from being fined or stopped by the govnt. These types of sites have child proof "checks" to make sure the persons is an adult. After the person gets through this checkpoint, they can view the nudity in full force.

Religions and some people do not know how to view them without affecting how they see other people. Children are especially vulnerable. Some cultures will support and some will not.
Religious are the biggest hypocrites. Children are not taught to view the body is this manner,BUT it is about culture and way of life.
