I love NY, but I also love many other places. I think it really depends alot on the person. Maybe the best place in the world is the one who's landscape and culture an individual most harmonizes with... so, in many cases, that would be home (friends and family are there, familiarity) while in other cases, it would be some far off destination where your mood registers more clearly.

wherever people can find their meaning in life, somewhere that brings back good memories, somewhere beautiful or interesting, somewhere that makes you happy. paxos, greece and tenerife are both very lovely in many ways. i love finland. it has such a unique blend of culture, arcitecture, weather, the moonlight is so crisp there... and their music scene is so powerful
