Some do, some don't. People who rush into marriage early (whether it be in the length of time they've known one another, or age) have a higher chance of divorce. Each subsequent marriage to the first doubles in the chance of divorce.

But those are all statistics. They are an "average" and the rule doesn't apply to every marriage. My best advice is to be patient, go to pre-marital counseling and be sure that you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person before you say 'I do.'

I'm not married but I would say yest of course they do. As long as there is much communication going on between the husband and wife. That is the biggest thing that is needed above all else. And some ppl don't realize that. They would rather stay quiet or let things build and build til neither one of them can stand each other and they run off and get a divorce. They don't even try to hear each other out, just need to run from each other and the problem could have easily been fixed through a lil communication.

Of course they do. But they need time, love, care, commitment, trust, loyalty, communication and affection to work. But they do work if both partners give it their best shot. I know my marriage is working just fine.

Yes, of course. You have to be really patient and understanding. There is alot of sacrifice that takes place. You must be faithful so make sure that you have sewed your wild oats. Love everyday. Marry your best friend. Work at it everyday and never give up!

YESS!!! Im 24 and my husband is 27 and we are sooooo loving the open communication that we have in our marriage. I feel very lucky to have my partner for life and when making love ...it's AMAZING how you just connect, when he looks into my soul while making love it doesn't feel like anything I ever felt ... It honestly feels like heaven. That's what they mean by being one.

It really depends on the couple. They may think that they are in love and find out that it wasn't meant to be. Every situation is different.
