I really enjoy the SA version of the Temptations quiz show as well as "Af" on MK89 and have to confess to being a bit of a 7de laan fan...

Past: Orkney Snork nie - I was a kid when that started and Wielie Walie (ou Sarel Seemonster "Stories is my LEWE!"). My parents watched Ballade vir 'n Enkeling, Agter Elke Man (we had volla that I called Suzie Sweetness - my dad says she was one of the characters in Agter Elke Man) and that kinda stuff. We don't have DSTV so I'd have to settle with that Afrikaans show that was on Saturdays last year at something like 19:30 on SABC 2 with the Dominee who married a second time, Eufeesia (Kakebeenia) who had the hots for the Dominee and the his two sons, the moffie (with the long hair and kaftans) and the doffel-boy. For some reason I can't remember the name of the show. Oh and Gauteng-aleng and Vetkoek Paleis (Fatcake Palace).

None, all the knock off game shows are a joke, why not leave them in the country where they started. Survivor (ha), put them on an island with nothing and see who survives, first one that wants off gets off, last person standing (had to be gender correct) wins. Lets see some of these game shows South African style, surely we have some brains left in this country that can come up with something original!

I can't watch SA shows anymore apart from the ones on Kudu Club, but I used to enjoy Kooperasiestories, Skoppensboer and Vetkoekpaleis.

"Uit en Tuis" and "Casimir" was also some of my favorites...bwhahahaha!

You are the man, orion!
