OK, so I just blew chunks. Don't think I've actually thrown up since Jr High, so I have no idea what to do to clean it up. It's fairly liquidy/biley so I'm thinking that throwing cat litter on it will help soak it up. Any advice? I'm kind of on a deadline.

My cat throws up all the time. I get some paper towel and a garbage can to clean up the chunky part, As for the seeped in the carpet part, you need to spot clean. We watered down Mr. Clean when my uncles dog crapped on the couch.

Clean as per usual, see other answers. Best way to get rid of the smell is to use bi-carb soda. Sprinkle it on the site and wait 10 minutes, then vacum it off. May need to do this a few times to completely get rid of odour.

baking soda will help absorb puke out of things like carpet, but you need to leave it on for a while and then vacume it up after most of the moisture is gone. just shake it out onto the chunks and be generous. It also deals with the smell pretty well.

Depends on what you're cleaning it up from. Wipe up the big stuff. Lemon juice is the best for combatting odor.
