I had bad morning sickness for several months. The only things I could do to help it was to try and lie down, or at least put my head down on something cool, to eat several small, bland meals instead of three big ones, and to eat something a little bit salty, like crackers or pretzels.
Much of the time, I couldn't keep anything down either. Sometimes, I could eat just fine, but ten minutes later, I'd be running for the toilet. I lost somewhere around 15 pounds when I was pregnant, and didn't gain anything until 5 -6 months. Then the morning sickness lessened greatly, and I could keep most of what I ate down.
The baby actually begins to move at about 4-6 weeks, but you can't feel it yet, and the movements are involuntary. I didn't feel the baby until about... 21 - 22 weeks, if I remember correctly. That's on the late side. Usually people feel it earlier than that, around 18 weeks.

Most women are sick in the morning. It is when the stomach is empty. Set some saltine crackers at your bedside, and in the morning before you get out of bed slowly try to eat 2 or 3 , it will cut back on the sickness.
Some recommend eating every 2 hrs. small meals rather than 3 meals a day, to reduce sickness if you are having it at different times of day.
And fetal movement can sometimes be felt as early as 14 weeks, usually it is around 16 weeks though.

Everyone here is correct. Saltine Crackers and pretzels are the best solution for nausea. Although, if it is extreme nausea to point of vomiting several times a day phenergan (generic name Promethazine)
could be prescribed by your doctor. I however do not recommend pregnant women taking this medication.Because, babies born to women who took phenothiazines have suffered side effects at birth such as yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes,CNS effects, and blood-clotting problems. Do not take ANY antihistamines without your doctor's knowledge, especially during the last trimester--because newborns may have a servere reactions and nursing mothers who must take promethazine after giving birth, should bottle-feed during this time. The baby is moving now, but you will began to feel the movements between the 16th and 20th week. At this point your nausea should start to lessen also.Congrats and good luck.

Sometimes you can't. There are prescription prenatals called Prenate Elite that actually have an anti nausea ingredient. They worked great when I was pregnant. Also, drinking ginger ale, eating dry toast or crackers can help. As far as when the baby moves, it starts early but most women don't feel it until anywhere between 3 and 5 months. Every baby and women is different. Just give everything time. Good luck

A balanced diet can help with nausea caused by pregnancy as can B vitamins. Some doctors give their pregnant patients B12 shots for nausea. Many women feel fetal movements as early as 3 months but most commanly around 6 months, some women never feel fetal movents at all.

Have you been eating saltine crackers? I kept them at my bedside and ate two or three before bed and when I woke up in the morning.
I also took my prenatal vitamins in the evening. That for some reason cut down on my vomiting and dry heaving..
Hope this helps you.
Oh, and sometimes I would drink a Sprite. Less sodium and sugar.

My sister is expecting a baby and her doc told her that movements can start as early as 4 months. If you keep feeling sick then before getting out of bed, chew on a few salten crackers and that should settle your tummy, you should feel better. It worked for my sister, she got sick every morning untill resentley she stopped after eating saltemcrackers before getting out of bed. Just keep a few at your bedside. I hope that helped!
