Let's ask Congress...hahahaahaa

Not illegal. Would it be illegal for him to talk to kids in person? NO, the same applies on line. Would it be illegal for him to try perverted things? YEP.

Face it, if he's got minors on his friends list, you need to ditch him. Especially if he didn't tell you he had one. He's 35 for crying out loud. What in the world would he talk to kid on-line about?

Is it not illegal to have minors on his friends list, although depending on his behavior his interaction with them may be illegal.

Myspace has security features in place to "sort of" protect minors, but it requires that they do not lie about their age when they sign up for an account.

I won't even ask why a 35 yr old man is talking to minors on the internet.

Is he trying to have pen pals just as friends or trying to network so when they grow up they become business contacts for the future ? People do not think of the latter they tend to think of the worst possible scenario. Not all adult have devious plans.
