I need to write an acrostic poem in French using the letters of my name. I just happen to have a short name but with hard letters, so I need good French adjectives that start with "K" or "Y" I can't find any in the dictionary...Help?

Lol, thanks to everyone who answered, looks like it really is hopeless.

The problem with few adjectives that people found is that they cannot decribe me, the words in this acrostic have to decribe yourself. Too bad I'm not Kawaiti or Yugoslavian....:(

If anyone comes up with something let me know, but it looks like I'll have to use a different name or something...

I understand your dilemma, I had to do this as well, my name is Kristie Lynn and I couldn't find any K or Y adjectives either. I actually don't know that there are any. Maybe you could fudge a little and instead of something like "creative" say "kreative." I know...it looks awful but I don't know that you have a choice.

Were you assigned a "French name" that you could use instead? Sorry that this wasn't much help, but I don't know if anybody can help you.

Well, it's not very easy.
Below some adjectives I found:
K: kabbaliste, kabyle, kafkaïen, kaki, kaléidoscopique, kalmouk (from Russia, I think), kanak (from Nouvelle-Calédonie), kantien, karstique (refers to limestone erosion), keynésien, khédivial ("khédive" is the title of the Egyptian "vice-king" between 1867 and 1914), khmer (Cambodian), kilométrique, kinesthésique, kitch, kolkhozien, kymrique (celtic language in Wales), kystique.

Y : yankee, yougoslave, yttrifère (containing yttrium), yttrique (yttrium componds).

I hope you'll manage it!

All adjectives beginning with K are borrowed from other languages. The one I can think of immediately is "kilometrique" (kiolmetric), which descibes the pass you can get for the Paris metro.
