It could be as simple as gas, or as serious as gall bladder problems. Since you're pregnant, I would call an after-hours clinic or go to the emergency room. Besides, your OB-GYN should have a number you can call to talk to a nurse or doctor on call. Don't wait around.

A possibility is that it is just the position of the baby, but call your Doctor anyway, he is on call 24 hrs and has an answering service and whoever is on call will call you back. If the pain is severe, just go to the emergency room at the hospital and get it checked out. Why take a chance?

If the pain becomes severe you should go to the Emergency room as you might be having a gallbladder attack.
Try walking for a while and see if you pass gas and the pain subsides.
When in doubt go to the ER

I am a student in the medical field but IM NOT A DOCTOR. you should have it checked out, it sounds like it may be your gull bladder which i believe is pretty common to have gull stones with pregnancy. just have it checked out. do you have a bitter taste or have you vomited any green? if neither just have it checked out.
depending on the pain it could also be the baby pushing into your ribs. and if it is, it will get more unconfortable trust me..lol.

This pain could be anything as simple as having a bladder infection to your appendix trying to burst, either way you need to call your doctor and make an appt especially since your pregnant....take my advice and get seen soon.

I have that and it feels almost like muscle pain because I can stretch it out. I am going to ask my Dr at my next appointment.

Could be the baby sitting at a bad angle. Could be gas. Could be anything. If it continues to get more uncomfortable. More than usual. You may wanna go to the emergency. But i guess its not that bad if your on the net looking for answers

more than likely it is your baby pushing on you......i have the same pain and asked my doctor about it last friday....i thought it was my gallbladder (dont ask me where i heard that from), but she told me that unless it started hurting when i was eating or after i had just finished eating, its probably just the baby pushing on your muscles.....as long as its not a sharp stabbing pain, you should be ok.....as for the back pain, its probably your sciatica....afterall, you are carrying a baby thats weighing you down and putting pressure on your back and legs!!!!

Go to the Hospital. They will let you know if it is anything to worry about. The hospitals expect visits from "paranoid" pregnant woman.
