i finally found how to pick avatar, now i can't get it to work here. what do i do??

Glad you figured it out. Your avatar looks great. Maybe a 360 page soon as it can show your avatar in full picture and you can show us what dress etc you have chosen.

Give up on the avatar and try picking a GUI-tar!

you have to log out and then log back in.
go into answers
click on my profile
click on change your profile
and then you will get the option to put your avatar up.
this happened to me as well!

double click on the picture, edit your profile, and the rest should be on the screen from there ...
