what's the answer to this question and how did you get the answer?

1. calculate the average kinetic energy of the CH4 molecules in a sample of CH4 gas at 273 K and at 546 K.

Hi

I am a Chemical Engineer and I hope this is correct...... But if it is not I appologize.

I think at ideal state, the formula for Kinetic engergy calculation is
KE = 3/2kT, where k is the boltsmaan constant and T is the temperature difference.

E=3/2*k*T represents the average kinetic energy of molecules in a gas at temperature TºK.
