we have 2 computers at home but are only able to have 1 on at any time.we want to have both on but am not sure which router is compatible with aol and the BT voyager 105 ADSL modem supplied. we recently brought an ethernet router but it is not compatible,so therefore wasted our money. aol dont seem to want to help either.we dont want to spend lots of money on one as we dont have alot.there are so many routers on the market and people are quick to try and sell us their product,whether its compatible or not. someone please help!!! thanks for your time

the best answer to this question is to download firefox and remove AoL. perhaps you're starting to understand now: AoL is evil.

AOL is using PPOE protocol with their DSL service so it should be compatible with a wider range of routers. I know a couple classmates who were using AOL and they have Linksys and Netgear routers. I've heard that Actiontec also makes compatible routers. If AOL is unwilling to help call the help lines for the router manufacturer.

speedtouch 576 from aol ask them to send you one if you have aol gold!
