Why or why not? When do you tip well and when do you tip poorly? Do you usually tip 10%? 15%? 20%?

I always tip... its not based on a percentage, it's based on service, for me anyway. If I get bad service, I leave $1, even if the bill was $160. I have given $5 tips for a $1 cup of coffee before though, because that waitress earned it.

I agree w/ the whole thing that the person has to earn it.... If the service is good I do leave more than the usual 15%, but if the service was lousy I'll leave $1 or $2 if the service was extremely lousy and I almost had to serve myself than I leave a napkin with a message on it... TIP: Next time you might want to smile and treat your customer right. You might want taking care of the customer, and being polite and you might get a good tip for a work well done.

I always tip, even if the service was lousy. I tip 15-20% when it's good service, and about 10% if it's bad. I used to be a waitress and I know it's not always the servers fault when something goes wrong at a restaurant.

YOU should always tip good like 15-20% percent...b/c as servers or waitresses and waiters they don't make very much b/c I know that when I'm serving I only make $3.90/hr., plus tips, and if it's on the weekend then I know I'll make bout $100 or more, if not then I don't make much during the week...cuz it's not really busy

I tip 20% for good service, and 15% for ok service. If service is outstanding the sky is the limit with me. I like to be generous. These people get really low wages.

I normally tip between 15-25%, unless the service was really good or i've had a bloody good week at work, then it's like 35-40%

$seven-hundred?!?! that's $35 dollars a guy or woman...i in my opinion, quite wish no chinese language buffet on the planet rates that plenty. a exceptional form of eating places upload gratuity in to the expenses of extensive partys (commonly 8+), so be optimistic they are actually not already charging for gratuity in the past tipping. the place I stay, human beings many times tip around 15% at a conventional eating place. At a buffet the place the staff is often refilling beverages and clearing your table, i could probable bypass away the 15%, yet whilst they only clean your table, i could probable bypass away like $40 for 20 human beings.

yes i always tip. How much depends on how i was treated by the waitress/Waiter. If they were very nice and pleasant then i will tip 20/25% if they were just average then just 15%.

I always tip out of curtosy. I never tip on a percentage. If the waiter or waitress was good they receive so much and if they were bad they receive so much. Some servers derserve more some less.

It depends if the service is good or not, and I don't believe in tipping by 10, 15, 20%. I always give them two dollars. Food is already high enough.
