What is the cause of aethism?

Hey I know the answer. It's called being liberal. Whenever a Christian acknowledges Christ but doesn't act like him it makes people not believe in God. So in turn, If you are a liberal Christian, then you are spawning aethism. I am so sick of meeting Christians who support homosexuality, abortion, and stem cell research. I f you support any of these, then how can you call yourself a Christian. GOD IS NOT LIBERAL

Atheism is caused by someone not wanting to accept the idea that they would have to take responsibility for there actions. In other words HEY! if there is no god, I have nothing to worry about! Slander or evil speaking of them does not help the matter at all however. A true Christian will show love and compassion towards others. And government is the enemy of God, always has been and always will be! No matter what you say, The government will become antichrist. It is prophesied in the Bible. The Roman government obviously was the enemy of God, governments these days just have a different way. A way of deception. Now I'm not saying George Bush is the Antichrist. I'm just saying that govenments have always been evil and decieving sense ancient times.

Your last line is true, but remember...

GOD IS NOT CONSERVATIVE. God is neither, yet both at the same time. God super cedes political views. However, it has been noted that, for the time, Jesus came off somewhat as a Liberal.

And if you are a Christian, why are you judging fellow Christians on personal beliefs, which will only apply as long as you are living? Once you are in Heaven, none of these differences (abortion, stem cells,homosexuality) will be of any concern.

Just don't judge before you know someone.

Let me ask you something. How do you know God isn't liberal? You know him well?

The cause of atheism is non-belief or(lack of faith)... they're one and the same. People have stopped believing in the "Good Book" and living their lives to be worthy of our GOD. They now say it's just common sense and actually believe the "BIG BANG THEORY" But to each their own...I've lived my life according to the "Good Book" and I know where I'll be heading when my life on earth is over! All you can do is live your life the same way. Don't worry about everyone else's beliefs or non-beliefs

I think it is the "in thing" to be spiritual,but not Christian. It is like the fashion. So, that's not good. But, as Christians we need to question ourselves: Are we Christians contributing to the problem by being snobby? Are we not able to be good listeners to people who are calling out to us? Remember Jesus always accepted people first and then worked on sins. We need to love others FIRST, as Jesus did, instead of crusading.

Aethism I believe is spiritual apathy, enhanced by a depressive state when one seeks religious answers and is clouded / confused.
