Sacrificing for HER may seem like a waste, but someday you'll find somebody for whom it isn't a waste. And you'll know this because it'll be somebody who is willing to do the same for you.
Not like you spend your whole lives making yourselves miserable for each other, but more like you'll know you can count on each other no matter what, that when it comes to the matter of life or death, you'll look out for each other.
No, you may not be in a life-or-death situation at this stage in your life. But someday you will be -- I've been in one for the past week. My wife of 27 years has been hospitalized for the last six days, and while it's looking good for her to come home tomorrow, it's been scary. So I decided to behave toward her the way I would want someone to behave toward me if I were having a life-threatening event -- put my own concerns and fears aside, cancel any plans or ideas I had, and just put 100% into making sure she gets taken care of, gets seen by the right doctors, gets the right information, and comes home well. Oh, and also make sure all the kids get wherever they need to be whenever they need to be there.
(As a side comment: I wish I could buy a beer, or the refreshing beverage of your choice, for all the single parents out there. Wow -- you do this all day every day. You've earned my respect, guys and gals. I've always, ALWAYS been an involved dad because I love my kids, and better yet I like them -- but being the one and only 24/7 parent has been eye-opening. I've always said it's hard enough being double parents, but being on my own for a week has really made me see the light. Give yourselves a warm-and-fuzzy, folks -- you earn it, every day.)
So the answer is no, sacrificing for other people isn't a waste -- you just need to find the right people. And the funny thing is, when you do, it isn't a sacrifice...

Well Monday morning quarterbacking is normal. We all feel that we sacrificed everything when a relationship fails. Both of you have put in a lot of time and effort. When the relationship breaks down you feel all efforts went down the drain. If you spent all your money with your girlfriend then remember you were there to enjoy it too. So it is not a waste or a sacrifice. You had good time. Now move on and now you are wise and you will be better.

It depends on the person ur sacrificing 4.
If the person just doesnt care abt u its useless.
Sorry bout wat happ wt ur gf.
U know nowadays ppl go out just for the heck of it.
And nothin wrong wt that except that u hurt a whole lotta ppl in the process.
I believe its totally unneccesary.
Y waste ur time n feelings like this?
Love isnt like that. Its not selfish. Its deep. Its pure.
U shud not get serious abt these puppy love/crush things.
And take ur time to get to know the person b4 u jump into a relationship (or bed) wt them.
Thats wat i think tho u may think Im a prude.....
Id say Im sensible.

As we've various selections right here on earth there are in basic terms 2 selections what includes the eternity: hell and heaven. You get to p.c.. you have a decision. My God is likewise your God, His notice is the comparable for all human beings. AND definite, he will do what He says he will do. So, you have an important option to make. in case you do not have faith in His notice, that doesn't substitute the actuality even one iota. His grant it the sole one that is going to be performed, have faith it or no longer. Your human opinion approximately God does not substitute who he's. He loves you. He desires to save you. yet He desires you for no longer something. you have a option to make, the form that has an eternal impact. Use it properly. loose will...continually interior God's limits.

No, it's not a waste. Just make sure you get something in return, which I'm guessing you did. You're probably a nice guy, try to meet a nice girl.

Just think of it as either a good or bad experience and remember it. You seem like a good kid so go out and find yourself a girl that will give as much as you will give.

Only make sacrifices for your husband or wife, and your kids. And possibly your elderly parents when they can't care for themselves.
