I have to dress up for theatre and I am thinking of going as a "Goth Girl". What are some things I MUST have to portray that image? Thanks!

use baby powder over your foundation to make your skin ghost pale.
LOTS of black eyeliner. black nails. black or dark red lips. or ghost-white lips, i do that often. little details matter... a chain here, a spike or two there... just black doesnt necessarily look gothic at all. Wear a corset if you can, gothic clothing is usually very tight around the waist, with flowy sleeves. And the boots are a must... black leather with chains or buckles. The biggest thing is how you carry yourself... you could dress as a clone of me but if you were acting all ditzy and such, you wouldn't seem gothic at all. work on the intense glaring, not smiling, manipulative eyes ect

Well, goth is a varied lifestyle, so dressing up as a stereotypical 'goth girl' only serves to perpetuate an incorrect image. Visit goth.net and learn more. P.S. Goths can wear anything they want to, so don't believe the 'goths must wear black and bats and skulls at all times' people.
