I hope this is a joke. Seriously!
Yeah, you can be pregnant. Do you know the expression "Irish Twins"? That's 2 babies born 9 months apart. It's completely possible.
My grandma had 2, single birth babies in one year. The first in January the second in December.

I'm not sure about how soon after you deliver can you get pregnant again but I do know that you can as early as 6 weeks and I know this because I did it. Actually it was a little earlier than 6 six because we had sex a few days before my 6 week check up because he was leaving to go out of town for a while so I didn't have sex again until about a month and a half later so I know it was that first time that got me pregnant, and yes you are VERY fertile right after giving birth.
Don't worry, even if you are as CRAZY as I was, lol, it will work out, it did for me and I actually enjoyed them being so close. I think it might have actually been easier, the youngest one did everything early, potty trained, walked, gave up his bottle, he wanted to do everything his brother did.
Good luck to you.

I know someone who actually came home from the hospital pregnant again. It's not likely that it will happen that soon, especially if you are breastfeeding, but that is not a reliable birth control method at all. I know several people who have 'Irish twins' because they thought it was.
Also, there is are reasons that you are not supposed to have sex before your 4 or 6 week checkup. Number one is that the dr will see if you are healed yet, number two is the risk of infectin, and number three is the risk of getting pregnant again before you go back on birth control.
If you are worried that you may be pregnant already, then don't have sex again without at least a condom and take a test in a few weeks.
If you are wanting to be pregnant again, be aware that doctors reccommend a year or two between pregnancies, to let you body recover.

It is very true that a woman is most fertile right after giving birth for the next forty days or so. That is why u r told no unprotected sex til then for fear of another pregnancy. But that alone isn't the problem u r not giving ur body enough time to heal from this child birth before getting pregnant again so soon the shock to the body can be unrepairable. U should be able to control ur self for ur and ur babies sake, we tend to be irresponsible to our selves and then r afraid of the consequences. From now on think before u decide to have unprotected sex again even with ur husband so soon after giving birth.

Yes, after you have a baby, your body is all full of hormones and is very fertile. Also, if you ovulate, you could produce several eggs. Your body is haywire right now.
Doctors recommend that you wait 18 months before getting pregnant again. I didn't even try to get pregnant the second time and when my daughter was 11 months, I got a surprise.
Now I have two kids, 19 months apart. A 2-year old and a 5 month old.
I had to quit my job just to keep up with them.

Sorry sister..but you can get pregnant soon after having a baby. With in a month. As soon as you have your menstrual flow stop, maybe before. Pleas...PLEASE...raise the one you have for a year or two, and pay special attention to your precious bundle of joy. Having two babies is HARD to take care of, and will only over stress you. Be a responsible woman and "just take control of your urges", AND there is birth control. Just be a responsible mother. WAIT, so you can teach your baby, and you can also learn how to properly be a parent. It's tuff work, and in the long run, you'll be glad you did take the responsible route.

You are extremely fertile after a birth or miscarriage and it's not healthy to get pregnant for 6-12 months after having a baby. You have to let your body and hormones get back to normal.

I would say you are pregenent. After birth you are very fertile and you can get pregnent while breastfeeding. My mother gave birth to my oldest sister May the 22nd 1963. the doctors told her she could not get pregnent while breastfeeding and she gave birth to my second oldest sister April the 14th 1964.

about 8 weeks after :) it takes about 6 to heal so give it about two weeks after that. I think that you are REALLY fertile right after you have your baby. talk to your doctor to make sure everything is OK :)
GOOD LUCK!
