There is some advice I can give you about this, considering I just had my resume done.

For your cover letter, write three paragraphs. In the first, explain why you are interested in the job, where you saw it, and the position you want.

In the second paragraph, write about your job experience, your qualifications, and about what you "bring to the table".

The third paragraph should be like "I would like to be a part of (the organization), and I appreciate you reviewing my attached resume. I would like to schedule a meeting with you to further discuss my interest in the position. Hope to hear from you soon".

For your resume' it helps if you can put it all on one page, employers don't have a lot of time or patience for long ones. Putting it on one page may seem impossible, but it can be done! Just write short, precise job descriptions and duties, only of the important stuff. Put a header at the top, and use your e-mail address.

I hope this helped! Good luck!
