Overpopulation again and again! Sand storms, and other tropical storms!

In the next ten years the gap between the rural urban divide and the rich and poor would be very deep and wide. This is due to the fact that the higher earning income groups, the IT, BPO,KPO and other MNCs are basing themselves in the citites. The rural masses who are into the traditional farming would be slowly forced to adopt to the non traditional farming so as to satisfy the needs fo the developed nation's market needs. The agrarian products are going to be more towards commercial than traditional like rice and wheat. The indian farmers would be cultivating more aloe than groundnut as the profit would be more in the former. In the long run this would affect the economy of the nation by making the most needed grains and cereals dearer and unaffordable to many. People would be having money but the cost would also go very high. The uncontrolled growth of population coupled with unmatching improvement in the infrastructure and sanitaion would see so many chaotic scenes in the health sector and transportation. On the social front the conflicts between religions, castes and regions may take a more ugly shape to the level of disintegrating the nation. The democracy of India is still under trial. It is still dominated by vested interests and shadowed heavily by religious and caste considerations. When the economic growth occurs as expected due to the onflow of foreign investments , the underprivileged are likely to be marginalised and deprived more than what they are suffering now. This would lead to lot of unrest and unpredictable turmoil in the sociopolitical scenerio. In total, there would be poverty in the midst of plenty.
A careful intervention to streamline the growth and assuage the need of all the sections of the society needs to be planned to avoid this. There is nothing of that sort visible in the immediate future plans of the Governments.

Population, Terrorism, and the economy. In next 10 years per capita income will raise as well cost of living will increase. As foreign investments are in the field of infrastructure has increased may be public sector units will be under MNC control or it will be privatised. Which raises in Unemployment.
Information Technology and ITES will improve more which lead to vast development in IT field. At the same time it will be difficult to get qualified persons who can handle cutting edge jobs.
Foreign Trade will improve but the local producers can be affected as there will be large imports of all items. Unless if india doesnt increase its exports in next 10 years local producers of Agro industries will affect a lot.

the biggest difficulty india faces even now is that the citize
ns are becoming more worried about one's own self and are in the least interested about the nation(come on guys face the truth).everyone when studying plans that i should get a good job,a good wife, and a nice place to live in.thats it.no sort of planning is done which at least brings 0.1% development in the country.
its upto our generation now which way to take our country.forget about the pleasures of money and show some sort of devotion for your country.it's a genuine request. Please please do something. I am frustated of listening that our country is a 'developing' nation and everyday i do something which persuades me that ya this will help to make my nation a 'developed' nation.
Come on my fellow citizens, let us make our country a developed nation. i myself have decided to devote my whole life for my country. i dont ask you to devote your whole life but you can atleast spend 1 hour a day for anything that leads to the betterment of the situation.
its only up to us now-in the next year India can be a superpower or it will cease to exists(which i pray should never happen) and become a past.

Urban Population and Pollution :-

All the major cities and capitals will become un-livable due to concentration of population, unless remedial measures like (1) Decentralisation of Govt offices, (2) Removal of interwoven residential and office areas by converting residential areas as non-residential and providing suitable alternate accommodation to rehabilitate the population and (3) Providing highly subsidised Public Transport System ( Light Rail Transport / Sub-urbans Trains / Underground Rail / Buses etc ).from residential areas.

1)Shortage of women as female feticide and female infanticide still goes on.The govenment has to do somthing about this!!

2)If the government (which is sitting on atime bomb)does nothing to enlighten the urban&rural folks with pictographs (phamphlets, fliers)also along with usual radio & tv coverage,to prevent AIDS, we will be the most populous nation in the world with AIDS.

3)Lose our cultural touch as every citizen is trying to ape the Americans/Westerners in all aspects.

4) Water shortage/excess as the rains are erratic.

5) Can face shortage in food product, will have to import food products as there will be less arable land.

6) We would be living in a concreat jungle as there would be any trees left and every individual wants a house of his own.

7) will have to make jobs for our excesspopulation.

Over Population : Unless the government puts a law of having just 1 child per household

Over Pollution : The cities are getting bigger and bigger and the rural and forest areas getting smaller by every second.

We will loose our forest and their inhabitants which are the animals. Our national animal 'The Tiger' is already in the endangered list.

Over Westernized : We will loose our culture, forget who we really are and will adopt all the bad culture of western country which gets potrayed in movies.

I will answer only the territorial discipline, which I think is the foremost issue for India.

Instead of uniting, we Indians are dividing ourselves, and that may spell our doom. Look at Kashmir, they want to be seperate, Punjab might again start militancy to be seperate, Assam is already in turmoil, the LTTE if sucessful in Lanka might try to include Tamilnadu with it and both might try to be seperate, in Andhra Pradesh the movement for seperate Telangana state is already in process, as you know, 2 new states fo Jharkhand and Chattisgarh were carved out in the recent past. So there you are.

My belief is in the age old proverb: United we stand, divided we fall.

No major difficulties.
Population control is done by people themselves instead of govt.
Nature will force conservative politician to water sharing agreement.
Knowledgeable people will replace the corrupt rulers.

India is basically a lawless country where criminals roam free. Criminals like Narender modi for example. When a country, turns its face from justice, then there is no hope of development/advancement for a promising future. Also as long as we have terrorist organizations like Shiv sena, BJP, RSS, Bajrang Dal etc, our country is going nowhere except chaos, poverty, discrimination and communal violence/genocide.
