India is a nations within nations. We have many sub-nations withing the nation. Hence, the proliferation of loyalties. What is surprising is that despite these disparities, we remain united. There is an undercurrent of nationalism which comes to the fore whenever there is an external threat, which very often confounded the enemies of the nation and the people have been rising above all the parochial and diverse considerations, at the time of danger to the nation. That is the reason why the leaders in this country have to show a lot of common sense in balancing the diverse interests of all sections of the society. A leader who knows the pulse of the people would show no haste in pushing any measure down the people. Here, more often than not, time will be best judge to settle an issue. The people have a lot of common sense. They know how to live in harmony with the men of other religions, other cultures. It gets disturbed only because of the external factors, imported from outside for narrow and political considerations. Our people, will be the best governed if they are least governed. They deserve a better government. for their patriotism, loyalty, hard work, enterprise and a sense of good neighbourliness. We should be better off without the dirty politicians.

When U create equal oppertunities for the people, when u shun religious and caste sentiments , when u appoint people for the people, when u make life easier for a lot more who toils.

I appreciate your question.
I believe that true Indian is one who does his job/ duty honestly and what is expected of him.
It is as simple as that and this is patriotism.
But we are not able to perform and do our duty honestly.
This will never happen unless we define what is patriotism.

nothey cannot treated indian unless they have accepted indian nationality. residence doesnot amounts to nationality as per indian const.
