No, Leukorrhea is not an STD. Leukorrhea is a white (sometimes thick) discharge from the vagina. Throughout our menstrual cycle (which includes the whole month..not just the seven days that we bleed), we have discharge. White/ clear discharge is very common. However, if the discharge is thick, have an odor, and curd/ cottage cheese like, it could possibly be something simple as an yeast infection which is not an std. How old are you exactly? You can get an STD from having sexual intercourse of course, meaning the insertion of the penis into the vagina, or any contact of the penis with the vagina if either is infected. You can even get an std from oral sex. Any contact with an infected gentatalia can cause you to get an STD. I have advice for you. If you don't know how you can get an std, why in the heck are you having sex? Just remember that sex is sex no matter if its oral, insertion of something, or just fondling. Make sure your partner wears a condom and get on birth control. Concerning the issue of you not wanting to go to the doctor: I see a lot of young women go into a family planning clinic to get a pap smear and std tests done for free. These doctors are used to seeing the younger population in the clinics so i advice you to go to one of these so you can feel comfortable. Morevover, you shouldn't be afraid to go to the doctor. It is your body and your health. If you care about those things you will just go to the doctor if you really think that you may have a std. My biggest piece of advice from you: refrain from sex until you learn more about contracting std's, and wear condoms/ talk to your partner if you do indeed proceed to have sex. Hope all goes well for you

so far i know... its just a vaginal discharge of white pus resulting from inflammation or irritation of the membrane lining the genital organs. i don't think you need to worry about it.. but regarding STDs... you get it only after you get in the act of sexual contacts.. so it depends on how safe you & your practising??
and yeah, don't hesitate to visit a doc.. stitch in time, saves nine !
take care!!
