Answered . Linguistically, langauge is a culturally accepted mode of transporting knowledge(ideas) included. so no. there must be a common reference for an "idea". However the stream of consciousness (in philosophy and literature) school whereby the author/proginetor defines his own concepts is validated. James Joyce's Ulyssues is considered the definitative expression/demonstration of this concept. Spelling is also arbitrary, especially the Anglo-Saxon languages. Just a bit of trivia President Roosevelt introduced a bill to standardize and modernize all government legislation, remove all foreign accretions, for example the francofied "beauty," defeated. Perhaps rightfully so English and ideas evolve as long as there is a common consensus or you are a genuis.

Well, if you say :
Do our words name only our ideas?
the answer is no.
Cause I don't give any ideas for my name [when it given].
but if the question change into :
Do our words name only human being's ideas?
That's right, cause all of names that exist in this world is human being's ideas.
even it's meaning.

One way of looking at it is that we have to have the idea of something before it can be named, and it follows that the idea is therefore what is being named. Not to imply that the thing or its existence aren't important, it just has no role in the naming process itself.

i would say so. of course we think our ideas refer to actual things in the "real world," but if you want to be specific, our words for things are really words for our ideas of things.
