I'm getting my bs degree in bio/molecular chemistry this coming june and i was wondering what would be the best thing to do after ward. a job? go for an MBA or a master degree? i was also thinking of applying to pharmacy school but that might be a lil difficult for me since my gpa isn't too high compare to the requirements of those schools.

I would suggest getting a job. There's still to apply to grad school, but you would have to decide a LOT in the next 2 months. Unlike being an undergrad, it takes a lot out of you to transfer to a different school if you are unhappy!

Before you jump on what your gut says, start with a job. Some will even pay you to continue your education! Before you spend a lot of money, take some time and look at who you've become.

I did my Master's right after undergrad, and I liked it a lot. I just wish I had done more job searching and gaining connections in grad school. I didn't do that and had a hard time getting a job right after college. No one wants to hire a person with a Master's degree with no experience, they want too much money with no real world experience (so they say), so employers shy away. If you go to grad school, start making contacts right away, ask important people questions about a project you are working on...have your profs help you...do SOMETHING while you are in grad school that helps you get a job. If you get your masters now it is invaluable in the long run. It helped me a lot after I got my feet wet in the work world. Good luck! I went through the same problem, but getting the master's hurt me in the short run, but I am killing now because of it!

If you really have interest in it, go all the way if you can. Masters, phd, the sky's the limit
After graduating, take a bit of time off before trying to find a job. Trust me, youll appreciate this break. (2 months)
You can apply to the schools. Try to justify your position with your strengths if you see your gpa as your weakness.
go forth and claim what is yours, and all the best!

Most pharmacy colleges rate your prereq GPA higher than your overall GPA.
You have time to make a choice. It might take a while to discover what you like.

After I graduated, my friend and me drank some homemade wine .. and then cans of beers .. then we sang "Mama told me not to come " .. then we got really sick and threw up the rest of the night. But, hey, it's something I'll always remember and treasure. Good Luck ! :)
