Extremely pleasant. It's how I got housing. My street bro has an apt. and I moved in w/ him until I get on my feet for $35/wk.

Always a pleasant surprise.
When I do something on a whim, I usually have a pretty good idea about what I'm getting into.

A very pleasant surprise.....while visiting a casino late one night, I was playing a quarter slot machine, the payouts were small, so on a whim I reached over and put 3 quarters in the machine next to mine, with those 3 quarters I hit a jackpot worth $1250. !!

A pleasant surprise, actually!

We were on our honeymoon (just got back today!), and after a terrible day of driving and getting lost, we were on our final leg before the airport. All we had to do was drive from Cape Cod to Boston via HW 3, which happens to run through Plymouth. Since my husband (I love saying that!) had never been there, we stopped because we could.

It was so nice! Sure the tourists stuff was stupid and overpriced, but we did it because we had time. We were in no rush and actually just enjoyed ourselves. I love times like that. :-)

the last time i was being spontaneous was being at home one weekend and i was bored, nothing was good on cable TV and didn't want to watch old movies on my DVD all over again, so all of a sudden i decided to go out and grab a meal or watch a movie or something. the very minute i got inside the mall near my place, it rained hard and i was literally stuck there until late in the evening, way past the mall's closing time. because all cabs and other means of transportation was hard to get by because of the flood. not to mention that i was stuck waiting with very weird and scary group of people. so now, when i think of doing something out of the blue, i check the weather reports first before leaving!!! lol

Neither, actually. It was not a pleasant surprise, but I do not regret doing it. A valuable life lesson learned, that's for sure.
