I don't really understand what you are trying to say and feel sure that you are not English by the way you have formed your sentences. Are you trying to say that you do not go out to enjoy yourself but play with your child so that your wife has a rest from looking after it? If that is what you are saying I would say to you that that is what all fathers do. You are not doing anything different to what the majority of fathers do in the world who love their children. You are NOT being a mother you are being a FATHER. There are fathers who have to act as Mothers when the mother is very ill and cannot look after her child properly or when there is no one else to take her place. There is a reward and you know it. .....if you love your child your child will love you in return and what you do now for your child your child will do for you later in life when you are old and cannot do things for yourself.

You are not describing a "father like mother" you are describing a good father. i spend 60+ hours a week at work, and the time i am not at work and my son is not at school or asleep i devote to him. that is what it is to be a daddy

That is considered a good father and husband, it does not mean you have been emasculated. The fathers role is not just to provide materially.
