the feet are detereating and wonder who to contact for repair or if maybe a do-it-yourself project. the overflow needs work too any sugestion would be helpful thanks

You probably have lime buildup in the return, use CLR to get it out. As for the feet, you can use any rust remover such as CLR or Rustoleum, and steel wool, and a pick of some kind (picks for woodcarving or even Dental picks work great.) Then you will want to repaint the feet or possibly the whole tub. Check DIY.com for more info. Lucky you for having a clawfoot tub! I used to but had to sell it with my last house.

In the back of most home improvment books are advertisements for parts. Wish I knew where yu lived would sell you 3,. I collected them from an antique auction, would love to sell them & get my money back!!
