Hope Yahoo e.mail has a Monitoring device for
you, to Help correct your childs temtations. E.Mail them and
ask! They are Responsible Professionals, some with little
tykes, they should understand what you are going thru. Right?
We can Hope so!
Mean while, I suggest you Promise to 'Shut-down' his/her
computor privileges 'till further notice. Insist that he/she
shows you the results, or ask ' Offended persons the results.
don't forget to Explain 'indetail' why you are Promising to
"Shut- down" all Computor functions, untill Child Equally
Promises 'Mum' ,&/or Dad that they Will stop Offending
their friends thru the Computor. If they Break their 1st
Promise, they lose computor privileges, Plus 1 other
FAVORITE Privilege! I suspect the child will get the Message
Real Quick! Pre-teens or teens, are tougher so Mum &
Dad Need to get Marginally Tougher.

There are variuos ways to do this Either change their password so you have to log them on and read the email with them or, Or check the email trash bin if you have one as it might still have the deleted emails.
The link below offers some share ware for parents but I cant say that the software is spyware or virus free.
Alternatively you can try this. If other suggestions dont work , you might delete your mail server account on your comp , then set it back up as new . I know this works to reload deleted news articles . When it downloads , it downloads ALL articles.
This may bring back all deleted emails

Play a game with the child! -- a game where you both sit together and read internet! You must have a "safe", "clean" e-mail acc yourself, which the child can watch with you and read with you: part of the game is for you to read the e-mails in each other's acc together. From there on, get to the child's acc once a while for monitoring, when you are alone! (you would know how to open the child's box) Nothing unethical about it, as you're doing it as a parent's duty.

Why don't you respect your child's privacy?
Whatever the problem is, this is the wrong way to go about it.
