science nonfiction book?

I am looking for a 4th grade nonfiction book for my little sister current event please.

So much of my understanding of science comes from Isaac Asimov non-fiction books. He had a way of making science fact sound like fiction and science fiction sound like fact. Although he had a PhD in Biochemistry he hated the accepted method of writing in science and his large volume of non-fiction science books attest to his ability to explain complex facts in a clear and concise manner.
