The plug for my radio has three prongs, the top two and the bottom one. The other day, the bottom prong broke off IN the electrical socket? What happens and what do I need to do?

Nothing much,no danger of fire. But you will have to get it out with tweezers or something,it's just the ground so it won't zap you.If you can't get it out, shut off the switch and replace the outlet

You can still plug things into that outlet, just obviously no three prong things. You may also still plug in the radio with the two prongs that you still have, but if you do BEWARE that the radio won't be grounded, (which means that if it gets wet it can put out and electric shock.or if it shorts out or something along those lines.) Other wise you can use the plug in as freely as before, just not with three pronged items.

I had this many years in the past. there is something it truly is draining the battery at the same time as the vehicle is parked. In my vehicle it replaced into the computerized radio antennachronic, notwithstanding I first suspected the alarm. yet another probability replaced into the important door locks. Get the vehicle in an extremely quiet spot and pay interest for any sounds it will be making at the same time as a charged battery is suitable. notwithstanding some human beings might want to signify a basic perfect on in a glovebox or bags compartment, those hardly use sufficient cutting-edge to have a lot result, notwithstanding this is well worth searching only a similar. connect a voltmeter throughout the battery or an ammeter solid for say 20 amps between a battery terminal and the disconnected adverse lead. in case you have not were given an ammeter the present drain might want to be sufficient to basic a low-watt 12 V bulb. Pull fuses until eventually the present stops or the voltage rises slightly. then you actually comprehend the position the project might want to lie.

The bottom is just the ground, you should be able to grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull it out. Everything should work fine.

Bottom one sounds like ground. Take a pair of insulated needle nose pliers and pull it out.

you can leave it in there if you want or you can turn the main breaker and get something to get it out and if it wont come out you will have to get another plug and wire it up
