Is it the case with everyone? And when it is raining in the night time, it is double harder to see. Is it the problem with my windshield? or vipers? All this watery mist from the rear wheels of the cars in the front, makes it hard for me to see the lanes.
I got my eyes checked, and distant vision is 20/20. I only need reading glasses with +100
Please help me with sound advice

Yes, it is very hard to see out your windshield when it is raining, especially if there is a car right in front of you sending up spray from its wheels. Try to stay far enough away from other cars so this doesn't happen, even if it means easing up on the gas a little to let them get ahead.

You need to change your wiper blades regularly. Also, a film tends to build up on the inside of windshields that needs to be cleaned regularly. Don't use just water in your windshield washer fluid. I usually put in about a half a cup of Windex or some other type of window cleaner, about a quarter cup of rubbing alcohol, and then fill the rest with water. When it first starts raining, if the rainfall is very light, use your windshield washer to get the dirt off so you can see better.

The best thing you can do to be safe when it is raining is to avoid going out if you can, and if you have to go out, SLOW DOWN. Even if it means other cars pass you, let them. They are the ones who will end up having an accident.

In additon to getting most reliable wipers you can, and having plenty washer fluid, (which can be used to remove road debris rapidly when splashed). You might try getting the yellow driving glasses, they improve visibility while driving in fog, so they might help you with seeing through restricted windshield (because of rain) too! I can't remember where I have seen them advertised, but they may be the same as "shooters glasses" too. They are widely advertised anyway!! They cost more like a real good set of sunglasses, (probably $30 or more), but they do really improve visibility (I had a set one time, but they "dissapeared"!)

it depends how old your car is and how old the windshield is, the older the car the more dull the headlights could be, same goes for the windshield. think of it as looking through a new window or one thats has dirt and grime embeded in it. one thing to try is rain-x the water just rolls off the windshield and hotter, brighter bulbs for your headlights. not sure what kind of car you drive but just two suggestions to help you out

is your window all foggy? if so turn on the vent.
it is pretty hard to see when it's dark and rain makes it worse... just go slow and take your time. and keep a good distance from the car in front of you so that if it stops unexpectedly, you don't slide into it... and it will also help to minimize the mist from its rear wheels on to your window

learn not to look at the rain or the windshield. Concentrate on what is ahead of you. It takes practice. Yes everyone has that problem somewhat

Could be your wipers, buy some rainx and put on it, you will not believe how much it helps to see. Don't use the wipes though, use the liquid you put on yourself. Try it and see. If not i would ask my dr. to check your night vision but I think the rainx will help ya.
