hey people who answered me:
i don't particularly like 2 email random people so 2 those of u who said that kids r smarter than their parents or friends: um, i kinda hope parents r more knowledgeable in that respect.
and yes they do teach it in schools but many kids don't listen 2 their teacher when the teacher is talking. (it wasn't so long ago that i wz taking sex ed. and let me tell u, listen 2 my teacher who was pushing 50 yrs talk about it was enough 2 make my friend barf) also, many kids get homework on this subject and thats what their q's r about.
so yah.
but how many kids ask about it is funny.

I think it's sad that parents have no problem teaching their kids to swear, smoke and drink, and yet have real difficulties talking to them about something as fundamental as sex

Yes I do. They are looking for factual information and sometimes parents and friends don't know or won't give them the information.

School should teach kids that, along with their parents.
