The American government is not ALL bad...but your point is valid.
There are people in certain positions that don't need to be there because their intentions are not good. A soldier leaving his wife and children in Brownsville Texas for a third tour in Iraq told me "this war is all about money."
The government still operates on the principal of Manifest Destiny. America is a country that is here to dominate and in order to live so lavishly we suck other nations dry.
Look at the contras of South America, the warlords in Africa, the Taliban. America has trained these people...So, why do they attack us? Because we have our hands in their pockets taking them for everything they have and they are pissed!
There is alot of corruption I do agree, but every great nation eventually has it's fall. America is destroying itself from the inside out. Look at T.V., movies, our culture and manners are gone...It's only a matter of time before we destroy ourselves unless we make a change.
