cell phone numbers aren't in directory's or anything so can a person still find out who you are by just having your number.... for instance if i call person A with my cell phone and they pick up and we talk and everything...then hang up..can he find out who called them if he forgot...i guess i'm trying to say is there some kind of caller id that can be used on cell phones?....sooo if you have a cell phone and a random person calls you can you find out who that is

Try typing the number on Google. Sometimes you strike lucky (e.g. It's their business number and it's listed on their website) It's worked for me a couple of times.

It is possible:

If the cellular service provider of the caller cooperate with you and provide you the name of user on your inquiry.

OR

If you have some sort of complaint against the caller , you can tell his/her cellular service provider to get his/her cell # deactivated.

no sorry it cant be done
only way is if you have their name registered with their # in your directory

just call them back and ask for their name
