Yes I do think that nice people are generally pushed around more than other people. But an awful lot of "nice" people are usually people pleasers, they will do anything for someone to get their approval, hence they end up getting used by others and pushed around. (And yes I do watch too much Dr Phil, lol)

I let this person that I WAS friends with push me around for a long time (10 years), becuase I was to nice to tell her to f**k off.
Eventually I exploded and told her exactly what I thought of her though, lol.

No, not always. The fact that their nice just happens to attract a lot of people and even tho they know their being used or pushed around, they don't really care. So why should you?

People take advanage of others around them and if nice people let them, other people will. It's the way things are.

It can happen. But if you feel that you are being pushed around you have to step back & take a good look at yourself.

Are you doing things to please people so they will like you or do you do things for people because you like them?

I think that if you are doing things to please people, that is when they may take advantage of you & if you keep it up, they will think that they have a good thing going for them self. & after a while you may feel that you are being pushed around.

Most people like to have some one to turn to in a time of need & many like to be there for them.

So this all works out better if we are there for each other.

Just don't do things for others because you want them to like you.

Do it because you like them.

And some times just do good things for some one.
for others because you can.

No, I don't. I think that being nice and being a pushover aren't the same thing. It is possible to politely stand up for yourself and avoid being pushed around by others.

yeah. well maybe not always but I'm nice to people and they just push me around all the time. I'm always nice to this girl in my U.S history class and she's somewhat of a friend of mine but we dont hang out we just sorta talk sometimes (when she has no one else to talk to) but i printed out vocabulary for her once for U.S history and now she asks me to do it for her every single time we have vocab. to do and she asks me to do her homework for her some of the time. I just cant tell her no though cuz i dont want to be rude or have her mad at me! but yeah i do think nice people get pushed around a lot!

No not always but it does make it easier for people to take advantage of them because they often only want to see the good in people. But just because you are nice does not mean you are stupid.

Yes. However, I believe you get what comes to you, and if you are a nice person you will get your reward somehow, eventually.
