yes i have used it, my computer never ran right after that, I had to go have the whole thing reprogramed. I got a lot of spyware that came with limewire during the download that made my computer run really slow, and then it seemed like everything I downloaded had viruses in it. I have tryed about all the share file things out there and shareaza seem to work the best

I use it a lot I got the more expensive one which is not expensive at all. You have to be careful about downloading programs and videos. I just use it for music. There is a lot of music on Lime wire that's hard to find especially if your an old hippie rock and roller like me. I also like classical and Blues. I found a lot of people share some very good recordings of old old Blues. That is almost impossible to purchase. Like Howlin Wolf, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, T Bone Walker and Alberta Hunter just to name a few. If you have a good virus protection you should be safe. But be careful anyway you have to be careful with any program you download anyway.

Depends what you are searching for. For Music if your looking for popular music it will be easy to find and quick to download. Also beware of music files that are corrupted since it is open source you may run into bad music that is either really choppy and disoriented or has nothing at all on it. I have used it for the occasional download here and there.
But I use a music subscription which files are always what yor want and its much easier to find what you are looking for.

yesssss it is awesome and amazing it works wonderfully. yes, sometimes you can't download what you want because it's messed up but you can always download a different version of whatever GET IT! It's awesome. I've had limewire for 4 years, the FREE version and use it a crap load.

Yes, my sis uses limewire. It does work well, but it does get alot of viruses so you should a very good viruse protector, such as AIG or Avast.

Yes, but it is starting to get filled up with spam and junk files. It still works pretty good for the most part.

yes it does, but bewear of the t1 and t3 downloads they carry viruses, make sure you have a virus protection program installed into your computer.. and if you want better downloads get limewire pro

yes i use it, and love it, the only thing is that alot of porn movies come up in your list of songs to download, so if there are kids around i would let them see the titles of them lol. other than that its great for music and movie downloads

yes but the guys who actualy made it also made a free ( no nag screens) call frostwire far better than lime wire , looks and works teh same way

I have, lots of junk but some good things also, use your virus scan. Manley for music here, not as good as Napster was though.
