Find a nice, maybe fancy canning jar. Find a good cake, cookie, candy recipe. Put the DRY ingredients into the jar one at a time in layers. Put lid on tightly. Copy recipe onto a fancy card that you've made or bought and then decorate the lid of the jar with bits of fabric, lace or ribbon. Attach the card with a ribbon around the neck of the jar.
The person receiving the jar adds the wet (eggs, butter, milk, etc.) when they are ready to bake.

This year I am going to sew some simple sacks, like 3" by 6" out of plain muslin. Then I am going to use foam chunky Christmas stamps, which are like 80 cents at Wal-mart, and stamp on the fronts. Then I am going to make batches of hot instant drink mixes, like spiced ciders and flavored hot cocoa's, etc. and put them in the bags and tie it with some twine and a tag saying what the drink is and who it is from. For people who are closer relations, I will probably add an embellished candle.

for close friends, maybe a decorated picture frame w/ a picture from a fun event; or personalized christmas ornaments.
or, better yet, make something different for each person that involves that persons favorite color or item. like a handmade photo box, recipe box, sewing bag, magazine rack, etc.
for toddlers: baby blankets, books, etc.
for kids: give them the craft material, with instructions on how to make the craft
for girls: hair ribbons, bracelets, doll clothes, etc.
figure out something that people can use and try that.

maybe selection the presents. i admire the two responses you bought already (baked products and rings). What approximately fruit baskets with candy? those are ordinary and rapid and coffee fee. present baskets are constantly exciting to make and get carry of. you're able to do selfmade potpourri, soaps, tub salts...or pass the nutrition path with jellys, jams, baked products and so on. Do a seek for issues you like and issues your persons/family contributors could like and print out some recipes. additionally in case you're taking some photos you're able to do a calendar. i think of you in basic terms % the ordinary stuff that is composed of maximum desktops (i'm no longer computing gadget savvy yet my husband makes them for all time for my grandma, his father and so on...) you could desire to apply a image consistent with month and spotlight the particular days each and each month (like birthdays, anniversaries and so on) have exciting with it. It particular does sound exciting. your persons and family contributors are fortunate which you care lots. :)
