I'm a girl, twelve years old, in the seventh grade. I was great friends with this boy in fifth grade, and I really liked him. He used to call me all the time, and I could always tell he was trying to make me laugh. He told me once that when playing a game, he was asked who he would have liked if he wasn't 'dating' this girl at the time, and he said it would be me. We then started middle school, and hardly spoke to each other. This year, he's in one of my classes, and all of a sudden I've REALLY liked him again. Last week on a field trip, he even brought up something that happened on the phone two years ago. My question is should I try to be friends with him again? He was a really great friend, and I miss talking to him every day. Should I just be more friendly or what?

Also, I hardly get to talk to him since he's across the room from me in one class. Help?!

Of course you should be more friendly...not creepy stalker friendly, but normal friendly. You guys are still kinda considered friends, rite? Just look for him at recess or lunch or after school, and, if he's not busy (i.e. talking to friends), then talk to him like you used to. Just relax and act natural. Talk about homework, life, teachers, anything! I dont care if it's a dumb TV show, just talk. He's unlikely to turn you down or be mean. People just dont do that. The only reason he might get irritated is if he's busy. Make sure that you catch him at a good time. Or, if that's not possible, call him on the phone! You still have his phone number, rite? When he picks up, just ask him how he's doing, how it's been a while, etc. Then ask something like what the assignment was or if he understands how to do the hw and can he help u. Even if u dont need help, ask him for help. If HE needs help, then work on it together. Eventually, the two of you will feel more comfortable and then at some point, you can just walk up to him at school and talk and neither of u will feel weird. Hope this helps (hope u actually understand my ramblings, lol).

Go for it! Start talking to him again! Obviously he's starting to be more interested in you again, and you should return the favor. Maybe things will go farther than they did in fifth grade ;)
Good luck.

i replaced into questioning a similar element. because how a lot time does a well known man or woman truly ought to sit down down at their computer to ascertain 3000-4000 solutions or extra? I somewhat have a topic interpreting now and again 30! lol

Be his friend!! If he is bringing up old conversations, then it probably means that he has a new interest in you, as a friend or maybe more. Just be a friend and see what happens!
Good luck!
