I guess that's the concept where I'm responsible for the well being of total strangers, so I'd say we could apply it by force. We're already taking tax money for that kind of thing out of paychecks, and most high schools require students to "volunteer" for community service as a condition of graduation, and many communities make recycling mandatory by law, so I'm not sure what ELSE we can do.

I believe that the best way to begin to implement the concept of social responsiblity is by taking personal responsiblity for our own tasks. We should be able to form our own thoughts and articulate them to others. Equally important, we can apply the concept of social responsibility to areas of communication. Both written and oral communication are vital to the social growth of our society as they are our means of expressing our feelings to others, therefore, we must constantly work to improve these skills.
In other words, write your own paper.
