Blood tests are more accurate than urine tests. They are able to test more accurately especially when your hormone levels are low. For example, if your hormone levels are low, a urine test could be repeatedly negative, while the blood test may show that you are in fact pregnant.

I took five urine tests (all negative) and finally gave up and had a blood test done which proved that I was pregnant. Good luck!

Because the blood test can detect early pregnancy more accurately than the urine test can. Also, from personal experience, urine tests are not very reliable. I did not test positive for being pregnant, until I was into my third month of BEING pregnant!

I wish you the best of luck in conceiving and above all raising a child, if this is what you want. :)

Yes you could still be pregnant. Actually the blood test is more accurate than the urine test. My mother-in-law said she was pregnant with all her kids even though the urine test was negative.

Definately possible! I knew i was pregnant (i just "felt" different). I went to the doctors where the urine test was negative. They took a blood sample and it came back positive the next day!

Good luck!

Yes you can urine tests sometimes show false negatives so a blood test will be more accurate.

you could be very early in the pregnancy and it could have been a low loevel of HCG in your urine.. if it werent first thing in the morning. a blood test is always correct and can dectect the littlest amount.

Blood tests are more acurate then urine. That confirmed your not pregnant.

A blood test can confirm a pregnancy before your period is late - a week after conception. They are probably also going to make sure you are sexually healthy since you are clearly having unprotected sex.
