Attitude and intelligence. Fun to be with or not. Body, activity, libido. So many things to consider I dont think I would want to bother....as long as I can get along with the girl's family. Great.
I dont care what it means. If I were even going to venture a guess in the significance department I would have to think that generally speaking genetic diversity would be a powerful thing. But who cares anyways? You can pick your friends but maybe the one you fall in love with just kinda creeps up on you. It doesnt matter when, if or where it does, just that if it does you better roll with it.
Its a gorgeous thing to notice how far we have come in so little time. Timeline of history is absolutely nuts now. The world is moving very quickly. The second you think you understand something youre past due for an update. I think the same thing with racial couples.
But just because I said that now its probably time for more of a 'lets get back to our roots session' and a spiritually conservative notion which will be over 5 minutes after I post this.

I feel that race is so overemphasized. We are all the same beings. Skin color means nothing. If we really wanted to get picky, we could divide "white" people into different races based on skin tone--my husband would be olive, I would be porcelain, etc. Interracial couples are fine. People who have problems with other people dating people of a different race need to take a good look at themselves and try to figure out why they are so offended. The answer likely lies within their own undesirability!

I don't see anything wrong with it. My great grandmother and great grandpa were a interracial couple. It wasn't good for them back years ago. With them living in the south it was worse I'm sure. I don't have a problem with it the only thing that bothers me is the mean people that treat the off springs badly.....That is the only thing that really is upsetting to me.

Interracial couples are like any other couples. Love is colorblind. Though my wife is of the same race I am, I was part of an interracial couple for over 3 years.

I think it's perfectly fine. The only time I have a problem with it is when you have someone that will ONLY date someone of another race, to me, that is somehow implying that you are not good enough (maybe on a subconscious level).
I have to say though, interracial couples must have some strong relationships to put up with the s**t they get handed on a daily basis.

I notice them before I would a couple of the same race, but that doesn't make me racist.I don't have any problems with it.Some of the best looking people come from interracial parents.

I have no problem with them at all. As long as people love one another for who they are, the race of the other person should not play a major part of there relationship.

I have a life, therefore I have no opinions on any couples unless they directly effect me and my family's way of life or ability to enjoy same. It's not my place to have an opinion or to judge, which by the way is one in the same.

Interracial couples rock! Then again, I'm biased, I'm part of one. ;)
Whether dating within the same race or outside your race...more power to you!
