I would be proud to be in the military. It is a shame that the honored men and women in the military service have to read messages like this from idiots like you.

Often the military is a persons best option, or it is a matter of choice. People in the military do their duty, sweet or sour. So don't ever confuse being in the armed forces with love of the politicians currently in office.

Politicians come and go, the Country remains, God willing, and the Constitution. The Soldier's oath is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, from all enemies foreign and domestic." No oath is ever taken in allegiance to a person.

A person's agenda may be forced on and result in the death of many people, but they put duty and honor first, even if certain other people in temporary control do not.

The war supporters are banking on the people that are not stupid but would rather do something other than college. This Iraqi stuff makes college look soooo nice.

Don't blame the soldiers for the president's inadequacy.
* A lot of people join the military to pay for college.
A lot of people join the military to escape poverty.
Some join because of the great benefits they wouldn't ordinarily enjoy, for their families.
Some out of a sense of duty
Most don't join because they are "Rambo" types with a penchant for firearms.
