Even if god created us are we going to become more complex?

Well, I'm not totally sure.
Seeing that I don't believe in the theory of evolution, I'd have to say NO, If your speaking of phisically, anyway.
Mentally, however, probably.
Seeing that only 10% of our brain is in complete function, I think that maybe, later, we will continue to grow and "evolve" in brain activity.

That's a tough question... I'm going to go out on a limb and say no. Here's why:

Evolution is caused by natural selection, which works as follows:

1. every now and then a member of the species is born with a genetic mutation (for want of a better term), that is, it's born significantly different from the rest of the species.

2. The "mutant" might be more suited to the environment than the rest of the species, perhaps because its better camoflaged so its predators cant see it, or maybe it has larger leg muscles so it can run faster and catch more prey itself.

3. The "mutant" will be more likely to reproduce, because it is more likely to stay alive.

4. When the "mutant" reproduces, its mutant genes are passed to the next generation, which share its advantages and are in turn more likely to reproduce.

5. After a while, the mutant becomes the norm, the old strain of the species has died out and the species has "evolved".

The thing with modern humans is that there is no challenge to reproducing anymore - anybody can do it. We have changed the environment to suit us as we are now, which is why we are living longer etc. If everybody has an equal chance of living long enough to reproduce, not just a select few, then I cant see how the species will change.

But that's just my theory.

Nah & they never have. Thats why it's called a theory; it's based on speculative observation. The proof is that if any,(thing), much less men and women, were (evolving), there would be some proof, evidence if you will, of it. The evolutionist has to invent more complicated unexpalinable evidence to make their case like, the big bang, or spontaneous something or another. They ain't got no hard evidence if ya know whut ah mean.
Complexity is more an issue of education. Human beings are no more complex than they are, have been or ever will be. Most of us in 1st or 2nd world countries are just educated beyond our capacity for humility & reason which complicates our ability to be simple and compassionate. Competence with out compassion is worse than ignorance, wouldn't you agree.
On the other hand though,if you happen to find something other than a homo sapien beside you in line at the micky d's ordering a happy meal [of their own free (evolving) will], maybe you want to consider evolution as a viable option; oh and e-mail me too.

We may become more complex, we may become less complex. A previous ancestor of ours had a brain on average of 200 or so more cc's than ours.

We are always evolving, just very slowly.

If we continue to do c-sections for 50% of all births, we may end up not being able to have normal births anymore. It would have to spread more all over the world, but we seem to be trying for it.

Yes indeed! We all are still evolving. But, the change is so slow that it cannot be observed by a human being in isolation, as the change takes centuries to take place.
Although still, what I have observed and read is that humans are becoming shorter in height, more obese ( thanks to the junk food we eat all the time), more sexually aroused. Also at one end we are becoming more suave due to the culture, but the animosity in the human race is on an increase.

Of course we're still evolving--very slowly. Evolution hasn't been a theory for many years; it's a proven fact.

All living things are still evolving and will continue to do so as long as the earth and its inhabitants still live.

Well if you believe in evolution over religion, then I understand why you would ask the question. Evolution teaches that we all evolved from monkeys, to neanderthals, to homo erectus, to homo sapiens..i think.

I honestly don't believe in that because if you read the book of Genesis in the Bible, you will learn that God created human and beast separately. The human was created in his image, while beasts were not.

So to answer your question based off of the Bible, I would say...No. Humans will never evolve into another being.
It would be cool if we did though. :)

I think we are still evolving. The last I heard we're becoming taller and blonder as a whole.

Depends which theory you believe in, if its a question for academic interest you must know what i m talking about.
its not that humans are getting complex, we are still in the process of discovering ourselves and our potentials. And i belive we have more potetial than we can imagine.
